Partnership for Human Services applies information and communication technologies to the Human Services sector on a large scale.

Information and communication technology continues to change our world which changes the dynamics that confront Human Services.  The ripple effect of change impacts needs, policies, best practices, staff development, assessments, etc.    The rate at which the Human Services sector does not keep pace with change reflects the gap between our services and the real needs.  The only way to keep pace with change driven by technology is with technology.

In 2000, VentureCD introduced a national Resource Directory to connect offenders reentering society with service providers.  The technology was subsequently applied by different initiatives to workforce development, homelessness, and emergency and disaster response.   Web based technology like client referrals and case management were deployed to assist organizations in becoming more productive, improving outcomes, and complying with the increasing demand for accountability.

When we began, we were developing technology for 3 - 5 organizations and the benefit to cost ratio was small.  Today we coordinate the development of technology for small groups and for the universal needs of 25,000 plus organizations.  Today the benefit to cost ratio is enormous and continues to grow.

Every hour a new organization joins over 25,000 Human Services organizations connected through our technology.  These organizations include over 250,000 staff and volunteers, conservatively impacting over 2,000,000 family members, friends, and neighbors.

Partnership for Human Services has successfully applied information and communication technology to Human Services in many of the same ways and with the same impact as we witness every day in the for-profit sector.    Some of the results are:

  • Providers can autonomously network like departments in a hospital
  • Providers can address needs in coordinated, efficient, and holistic manner
  • People find what they need and do not fall through the cracks
  • Improving outcomes in less time and for less cost
  • Providers recruit, train, and support other providers
  • Information technology facilitates best practices
  • Information technology converts practice to process and can replicate across the nation with training, and support.

Partnership for Human Services is connecting organizations in a virtual collaborative framework.   The benefit to cost ratio is enormous and continues to grow.  We are working to expand the framework to over 200,000 organizations, provide more value to each organization, expand the opportunities to collaborate and empower Human Services to improve overall outcomes.

Welcome to the Partnership for Human Services.  We invite you to learn more about us, engage in one or more networks, support us, and stay in touch.
