Professional Background: Robert T. “Bo” McDaniel retired from City Management in various Texas cities and one in Tennessee after a 29 year career. In Bo’s last position, he was City Manager for the City of Friendswood, Texas. In this position he served as chief operating officer/general manager for the municipal government of the city. Bo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master’s in Public Administration from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. Bo has lived in the Houston area since 2000. In addition to volunteering at ESCH, Bo and his wife Peggy are new grandparents and enjoy their first granddaughter who lives in nearby Pearland.
- ESCH Experience: Bo recently joined ESCH in 2009 and is going through ESCH training and consulting orientation, looking forward to his first consulting assignment.
According to Bo, “Ron Swofford introduced me to ESCH and suggested my experience with local governments may be of value to non-profits as a volunteer consultant. I am looking forward to service ESCH and the non profit sector.”
