Professional Background:  Sallie Diederich is the owner of a sole-proprietor CPA practice office specializing in management consulting for the financial services industry.  In this capacity, she is a CPA and holds a BBA degree in accounting from the University of Houston.   She has lived in Houston since 1956.  Sallie has also volunteered with a variety of organizations supporting the art community and with literacy programs.   ESCH Experience:  Sallie joined ESCH in July 2009 and has been working to launch the Financial Fitness for Nonprofits Program to help nonprofits through financial management training and/or management consultation services.  Her particular areas of expertise are: accounting, financial management and organizational structures.      With respect to her ESCH experience, Sallie says “This organization allows me to share my expertise with a nonprofit community who might otherwise not have access to the knowledge and skills that I can offer.  The opportunity to work with similarly minded experts in delivering valuable resources to nonprofit groups is particularly rewarding especially during the current financial environment when nonprofit organizations need help now more than ever.”
