Professional Background:  Dave Teall retired from Shell Oil Company in 1998 after a 32 year career.   In his last position, he was an internal Consultant to senior management.  He holds a BS degree in Personnel Management from Northeastern University. Dave has lived in Houston since 1977 off and on.  In addition to volunteering at ESCH, Dave was the Chairman of the Board of his own 501c3 organization, does lots of volunteer work in his church and does some paid consulting.

ESCH Experience:  Dave joined ESCH in 1998 and since then has helped more than 25 nonprofits through training and/or management consultation services. He is a trained coach with ESCH's Executive Leadership Development Coaching prorgram, serves on ESCH's Consultant Relations team and is the Project Coordinator for Montgomery County.  Some of his recent clients and projects include:   I Have A Dream, an organization that provides mentoring requested help in revitalizing their volunteer program.  He helped design and lead a team approach to a new and enhanced volunteer program.   Women’s Center of Montgomery County provides services to abused individuals.  In response to their request, Dave led an effort to do group sensing with their entire staff to ascertain causes to high staff turnover.   Amigos is an organization that sends intern students to South America to help teach English.  With consultant assistance Dave helped them reorganize their staff for more effective and efficient operation and greater team approach.
