Professional Background:  John Wagner retired from Shell Oil in 2000 after a 33 year career.   In John’s last position, he was National Manager for Lubrication Engineering Services.  In this position he development comprehensive programs for providing extensive engineering and maintenance services to large industrial accounts.   John holds a BS degree in chemistry from University Of Maryland.  He lived in Houston since 1973.  In addition to volunteering at ESCH, John is member of the Board of Directors for Analysts, Inc.

ESCH Experience:  John joined ESCH in 2001 and since then has helped more than 20 nonprofits through training and/or management consultation services. He also serves on the Marketing and Training teams for ESCH and until recently the Project Coordination team.  Some of his recent clients and projects include:  Montgomery County Women’s Center (Strategic & Market Plans), Montgomery County United Way (Salary Survey), Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (Strategic Plan & Board Development) and ZCAM project (developed seminar on marketing and advertising). He presents two marketing seminars for ESCH - one on the basics of marketing; the other on creating a marketing plan.
