Consultants

Our volunteer consultants, men and women who have held highly responsible positions in business, the professions and other enterprises, provide all of ESCH’s services to nonprofits. They have entered the "give-back" phase of their careers and volunteer their time, energy and vast experience to help educate and strengthen the management of nonprofits. They coach, lead, mentor and solve problems that impede an organization’s ability to perform. We call our work with a nonprofit a “project” but what we do goes beyond – our consultants cultivate a relationship with an organization, share expertise and experiences, and suggest, recommend, brainstorm, assist, prod, and mentor.  We thus help nonprofits be more management- savvy, more accountable, and more efficient and as a result, more effective, better stewards of their own funding, and more sustainable.  In short, our consultants contribute to a stronger fabric of community well-being by strengthening the nonprofits that serve our community. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and our ability to keep our operational expenses low through extensive use of volunteers, we are able to offer our individualized management consultation services entirely without cost.  Thus, those nonprofits that need our services the most are able to receive them.
