During June and July, the access road was substantially upgraded. Road conditions have been very poor, especially during the rainy season. Culverts were installed to promote good drainage of rainfall. A local civil engineering firm designed the new road and provided the technical oversight. Much of the work was done manually, allowing us to offer paying jobs to people in the area.
